Investigations, Coordination, and Customer Contact

As a benefits investigator, you are a state employee tasked with ensuring that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. In your work, you assess whether the individual is entitled to activity compensation by conducting qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, primarily medical statements. You then present proposals for decisions that are made by specially appointed decision-makers.

You also identify the individual's needs for interventions to actively plan and coordinate rehabilitation together with the individual. You are responsible for contacts and collaborations with others that the individual may need support from, such as the Employment Service, healthcare, and possibly parents and schools. You meet the individual through digital channels and in personal meetings. As a benefits investigator, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
• is confident and trustworthy, even in challenging situations
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• has a systematic and meticulous approach to work
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• is proficient in using a computer as a work tool.

It is an advantage if you

• have worked with investigations and made decisions that have affected individuals
• have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in various life situations
• have knowledge of different types of disabilities
• are experienced in collaborating with various external stakeholders.

Other

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
